We would like to thank everyone who has supported beelocal over the past 18 months, we have enjoyed running the beelocal shopping service and have met some great people along the way, and I hope that you have enjoyed using beelocal. It is just a shame that we were unable to attract more regular customers in the area so we could keep it going.

How beelocal works

beelocal is an online shopping service that enables you to buy the finest food that the Lake District has to offer in an easy and convenient way. We sell meat boxes, organic fruit and vegetable boxes, fine wines and cheeses, artisan breads and much more direct from independent suppliers in the Lake District. We can then deliver your food shopping to you in our refrigerated delivery vehicles if you live within our delivery area, or we can send your food order nationwide using our mail order service. Alternatively, if you are staying in a self catered holiday cottage in the Lake District we can deliver your food to your cottage on your arrival.
