Unfortunately beelocal are no longer trading.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported beelocal over the past 18 months, we have enjoyed running the beelocal shopping service and have met some great people along the way, and I hope that you have enjoyed using beelocal. It is just a shame that we were unable to attract more regular customers in the area so we could keep it going.

We hope you continue to support your local food shops, as they are a very special part of the South Lakes and need your support.

Howbarrow now provide an even greater selection of local, organic produce than ever before, with award winning service too. This farm produces a great selection of salads at Howbarrow and include as much of their produce as possible in the boxes throughout the season.

The vast majority of the items which can be found in a Howbarrow fruit and veg box are produced in Cumbria and Lancashire, seasons allowing, and the company looks after the environment every step of the way. All of their produce has zero air miles and to offset their own inevitable carbon footprint, they support the Sand Martin Wood project in Cumbria.
